I want to say Merry Christmas my friends.  I want to send special blessings to all my new blog friends.  You have made this year fun and inspiring.  I want to thank those of you that have been so supportive.  You cheered me on for no other reason than you are kind and have a generous heart.  I am so thankful.

I never imagined that I would find something I enjoyed so much and to the degree.  I wake each morning thinking of how to present my recipe so that it is so enticing that you will think you just have to try it.

I have read that to keep your mind young you should learn something new.  Well, I certainly have found a way.  I have worked to learn a better treatment of a recipe, how to tease out the most flavor.  I have worked hard on my photography so I did not drive you all away, and I even learned a little tech stuff.  Who knew that was possible?  Even though it has not come easily I have welcomed the challenge and enjoyed every moment.  I surely must be getting younger everyday.

I wish you all health and prosperity.  I wish success to all of those working hard everyday to make their blog a success.  I have enjoyed your talent and creativity and can’t wait to see what I can learn from you in the coming year.

Have a happy holiday,

Madonna/aka/Ms. Lemon

Merry Christmas to you and yours Karen. I have been thinking about your Tiffany Snowflake Cookies since I read your post. Since I have had plenty I think I am going to do as you said and just practice on parchment. Maybe by next Christmas I will have enough practice.

      • I think that is great. Make a small amount of icing, work with designs on parchment, scrape them off and start over. I’m looking forward to next year after you have practiced…I know you will have terrific cookies. :)

You have more confidence than I do, but I know I will have fun trying. If it works you will be my first email. All kidding aside, thanks.

  5. Merry Christmas to you! I hope you’re having a wonderful holiday!

      • Madonna, Just wanted to let you know I labeled one of my pics,
“Make Mine Lemon” on my latest post. The original post from last August is titled “I’ll Have Lemon, Please!”
The phrase has been in the universe for ages but I didn’t want to offend you, dear friend. Just giving you a heads up.
        Happy New Year, Ginger

Marie, you are such a good cook. I have made several of your recipes and they are as good as they look. I just cook in very small portions and when I saw your Ravioli with the Cousins I could not believe it. You are awesome. Thank you so much for your kind words.
