My family and friends tell me I talk about food all the time a lot. I read cookbooks like novels short stories. Due to some health issues I was/am forced to cook from scratch and to my surprise and delight I have discovered some really delicious food.
I am trying to eat whole foods, but if not whole food then at least cleaner than before. After watching a tv interview where Michael Pollan stated we should eat like our great-grandmother and then I heard Jacques Pépin say before the second world war all food was grown organically, I am trying to take their advice. This is my quest to learn how to eat cleaner, be a better cook, and maybe make some friends.
