This sounds oh so good, Madonna, and so easy, too!
I hope all is well with you and that the fires haven’t affected you. May you have a wonderful week before Christmas. Happy baking and cooking!

So good to hear from you Kitty. I am sure I don’t need to tell you, but a little puff pastry saves the day.

We have not personally been impacted from the fires, but we live in fear that someone would be careless with a cigarette or a bbq pit. With Texas getting so much rain and we have been in draught for several years, if we could just figure out how to share the rain we would all be in good shape. 🙂

Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Anyone can use a good shortcut during the holidays and puff pastry is one of those! I love the lemon/mascarpone filling too 🙂 If it’s not chocolate, then lemon!

It’s definitely worth making puff pastry — once. 🙂 It’s really good, but there are some good frozen ones available, and that’s what I almost use. Although I keep thinking I should make it from scratch again, just to prove to myself I can still do it! Anyway, this looks terrific — pretty and tasty. Thanks!

Making puff pastry is definitely on my list for next year just to prove I can. We will see how that turns out. 🙂

Thanks for stopping by and wishing you and the Mrs. a Merry Christmas. 🙂

There will be a lot of chocolate going around, so I like to add a little lemon for those that have od’. 🙂

Have a Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones.

Lovely! And a wonderful idea for a quick little treat. I must remember more often to keep puffpastry in the freezer. It makes anything prettier!

I am usually a scratch cook, but in this case it has been a help. Thank you for stopping by, I love comments.:)
